AMICULUM opens first office in Scotland

AMICULUM® (www.amiculum.biz) is delighted to announce the opening of a new office in Dundee, Scotland on 22 May 2018. The date was selected to coincide with the opening of the 18th BioDundee International Conference (www.biodundee.co.uk).

Based in Dundee University’s incubator facility on the Dundee City Council Technopole, AMICULUM’s Dundee office will provide significant opportunities for collaboration with the city’s impressive biomedical science community and enhance AMICULUM’s ability to support pharmaceutical, biotechnology, diagnostics and medical device clients located in Scotland.

Dr Richard Allcorn, co-founder of AMICULUM, commented, “our team is particularly excited to be establishing a presence alongside Dundee University, which is highly regarded as a global centre of biomedical research and teaching. We have been made to feel most welcome by the University, city and the business community and are looking forward to playing an active part in the ongoing developments in the city and region.”

Lynne Short, convener of Dundee City Council’s city development committee, said, “I am delighted that AMICULUM has chosen to locate its first Scottish office in Dundee. The city’s long and successful track record in biomedical science, digital technologies and creative design will create exciting opportunities for collaboration and innovation, which, I am sure, helped to make Dundee a good fit for their investment.”

The Dundee office marks the second new office for AMICULUM in 2018, following the opening of their Brighton office in January.
