The final six in each category of this year's STAR Awards have been announced. The Gold, Silver and Bronze winners will be announced at the glittering awards ceremony in October.
Chair of Tayside NHS Board, Lorna Birse-Stewart said, “I would like to thank everyone who took the time to put forward a nomination. I would also like to thank the shortlisting panel who had the extremely difficult job of whittling down over 1000 nominations to just six finalists in each category.
“Everyone who is nominated receives an email to let them know that their efforts have been recognised and I'm sure it’s very much appreciated that somebody, whether a patient, carer, visitor or a colleague, has taken the time to nominate them.
“The judging panel has now met to decide on a Gold, Silver and Bronze winner for each category. Again, this was a very difficult task to choose the best of the best and my thanks go to the judging panel.

The finalists are invited to the STAR Awards ceremony where the Gold, Silver and Bronze winners will be announced. The ceremony is being held in the Apex City Quay Hotel on the evening of Friday, 21 October.
